A couple of photos taken at St. Tropez. Not the usual sights
you see.
I have as yet no idea what the fight was between an English
(British) frigate and the French one.
The other names are the casualties of World War One.
The single memorial is just outside the gates of the cemetery
(the World War One is just inside) and records the names of the
men who died near there when they were dropped into the sea instead
of the land on 15 August 1944.
The other is of the whole of the War memorial which has individual
family plaques inside it.
