TOTAL CASES of INFLUENZA 4814 and TOTAL SUFFERING PNEUMONIA -- 1370

Lobar Pneumonia -- 247, Bronchopneumonia -- 1123, Deaths -- 410, death from Lobar Pneumonia -- 87 and Bronchopneumonia -- 323

After the peak, FROM OCTOBER 21st 1918 to FEBRUARY 20th 1919, the number of cases of INFLUENZA fell to 186 and the total of PNEUMONIA fell to 43. There were 24 cases of Lobar Pneumonia and 19 of Bronchopneumonia.


DEATHS fell to 4 (9.3%) all these were due to Bronchopneumonia.

Pneumococcus Type I: 1

Pneumococcus Type II: 0

Pneumococcus Type III: 2

Pneumococcus Type IV: 31

Undetermined: 1
